Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated 2 September 2026
SHYRAM is a marketplace: each order is between you and the maker who fulfils it, and we hold your payment until it is resolved fairly. This page covers cancelling an order, asking for a refund, and how and when the money comes back.
Cancelling before it ships
- You can cancel an order yourself, free of charge, any time before the seller has shipped it.
- If a seller declines your order instead of accepting it, it is cancelled automatically and refunded in full — you do not need to do anything.
- Either way, the items go straight back into stock and a refund is started immediately.
Checking it at the door
Where a seller supports it, an order arrives with an open-box check: you inspect it in front of the courier and can refuse it on the spot if it is not right, rather than having to accept it first and sort out a return afterwards.
Asking for a refund after delivery
- You can request a refund from the order’s page any time from checkout up to 7 days after delivery. After that window the order is treated as complete and the seller is paid.
- Tell us what went wrong. A seller and, where needed, our team review it — this is a manual review, not an instant automatic approval.
- If buyer and seller disagree, either side can raise it as a dispute and we will make the call and explain why.
How much, and where it goes
- A refund is never less than what you paid for the item. We do not take a fee off a refund the way we take a platform fee off a sale.
- You choose the destination when you request it:
- SHYRAM wallet — usually lands within a day. Spendable on SHYRAM, not withdrawable to a bank.
- Back to your original payment method — typically about a week, since the timing past that point is set by your bank or card network, not by us.
- Cash on Delivery orders are refunded to your SHYRAM wallet, since no card or UPI payment was ever taken to refund back to.
What we do not cover
- Change of mind after the 7-day window above has closed.
- Damage caused after a delivery you accepted without raising it at the open-box check or shortly after.
If you are unsure whether your situation qualifies, ask — a real person reads every refund request rather than an automated rule silently rejecting it.
